Nicole Pottier est française, elle vit en Normandie. Elle a étudié les langues étrangères et la littérature. Elle aime les voyages, la photographie et la poésie. On peut voir ses photos sur le site de la revue National Geographic. Elle traduit de nombreux auteurs classiques et contemporains. De 2016 à 2022, elle a fait partie du comité de rédaction de la revue « Haiku » de Bucarest, éditée par la Société de Haiku de Roumanie, en tant que traductrice de français. De 2019 à 2022, elle a été rédactrice à la revue Albatros, éditée par la Société de Haiku de Constanta (SHC) dont elle est membre depuis 2017.
Elle publie des poèmes, des essais, des photo-reportages. Ses haiku, haibun, tanka et haiga en plusieurs langues paraissent dans les revues Haiku, Albatros (Roumanie), Haiku Canada Review (Canada), Ploc!, Haikouest, L’écho de l’étroit chemin, Graines de Vent, l’Ours dansant, l’Estran (France), Diogen Pro Kultura (Croatie), Moonbathing: a journal of women’s tanka, Autumn Moon Haiku Journal (USA), World Haiku Association, Ko (Japon).
Elle participe aux concours, et elle a remporté plusieurs prix internationaux :
En 2014, elle remporte le premier prix au concours international organisé par The Haiku Foundation (USA) ainsi qu’un troisième prix au 19ème concours international « Kusamakura » au Japon. En 2016, elle remporte une mention honorable (3ème prix) au 20ème concours international « Mainichi » au Japon. En 2017, elle remporte une mention honorable au 15ème festival d’UkiaHaiku (USA) dans la Catégorie Internationale Jane Reichhold. En 2020, elle remporte le troisième prix au concours de la revue « Haiku » de Bucarest (Roumanie). En 2022, elle remporte un Prix d’Excellence au 33ème ITO EN Oi Ocha Shinhaiku Contest.
Elle a plusieurs fois été classée au Palmarès des 100 auteurs les plus créatifs d’Europe, liste établie chaque année par Krzysztof Kokot. Elle fait également partie des auteurs inclus dans le Haiku Registry de la Haiku Foundation.

Nicole Pottier was born in France, she lives in Normandy. She studied foreign languages and literature. She’s very fond of travelling, photographing and writing poetry. From 2016 to 2022, she has been member of the board of the « Haiku journal », edited by the Romanian Society of Haiku (Bucharest), as French translator. She also takes part in many contests, receiving international awards:

In 2017, she won an honourable mention in the 15th UkiaHaiku festival in the Jane Reichhold international category (USA). In 2020, she won a third prize in the annual contest organized by the Romanian Haiku Society of Bucharest (Romania). In 2022, she won an Merit Award in the 33rd ITO EN Oi Ocha Shinhaiku Contest.
She is a multi-year award recipient of the European Top 100 most creative haiku authors, listed every year by Krzysztof Kokot. She is also included in the Haiku Registry from the Haiku Foundation.
